Hello, Everybody!

We have a major announcement to make–TGH is moving to a new website! The existing URLs (www.titlegoeshere.com and www.title-goes-here.com) will be re-routed to the new site soon.

Meanwhile, the new site is officially open NOW, and it’s much better! We’re having a housewarming party over at the new site, www.titlegoeshereonline.com, and you’re invited! Come on over for contests, new fiction, and prizes!

Subscriptions! New Site Coming! Stuff!

Hello, all!

Just wanted to make a one quick announcement, plus something of a preview of things to come. First of all, for the first time ever, TGH is offering a subscription rate! The .pdf version of our print edition is now available as a one-year subscription for $12. That’s almost a full dollar off per issue compared with cover price. Just like the single-issue .pdf’s, delivery is via email; subscribers will receive each new issue automatically as soon as the files are available. Click here to visit our .pdf purchase page to order either your Issue Six .pdf or to start your subscription!

And second, as you’ll see when you visit the .pdf page linked above, we’re working on a whole new website! No promises as to just how soon before our new home is move-in ready, but we’re working diligently on the construction and the decor. Once we’re all unpacked, we’ll invite you all over for a housewarming party! (And yes, parties can get a bit wild around here–just ask anybody who encountered Chris tending bar at the Shroud party at Context last year!)

Hello, everybody!

Well, moving right along, our second issue of Title Goes Here: Web Edition is online and available now! This time around we have stories by Travis Roberson and Adicus Ryan Garton, as well as part two of The Silver Statue by John J Barnes, which premiered in issue 1.1.

TGH Stories Online… Take Three…

Well, we’re hoping that the third time really is the charm. It seems that, for some reason, the conversion/upload process managed to entirely remove the letter “A” from Title Goes Here: Web Edition issue 1.1. That’s now been fixed, and the *correct* file is now online. It’s a slightly different file name this time, so be sure to refresh your screen before clicking any links, and replace anything you may have had bookmarked!

As always, we prefer not to have technical site feedback on the stories page, as we like to reserve that spot for our authors. If you do have difficulty with the .pdf, however, please let us know via email at contact (at) title-goes-here.com. (Please note that this is an offer to assist those having technical difficulties, not a request for lessons on how to run a website.)

Issue Six

Welcome, readers, to the first issue of our 2011 print year! Issue Six brings with it a few new additions here at TGH–and exciting changes they are!

Our first change isn’t really part of this issue, but still something new this month–stories online! These are stories that are not to be found in our print pages, and will be published on the site every single month! The first batch is up now–click the “TGH Fiction Online” link to the right to go get ‘em!

Second, not only are we offering our usual, high-quality print issues this year, but also a .pdf of the print issue as well. And better still, the .pdf is less than half the price of the print! And fear not, readers, the .pdf still includes the full color cover!

So, on with the details of Issue Six!

This issue includes more stories than we’ve ever had in a single issue before! Our feature is “Dead Weight by John Richard Albers. In addition to his rock-solid tale, the issue includes selections by Jason Helmandollar, Alexander Bouillion, C. Deskin Rink, Jacob Edwards, and two returning TGH alumni, Paul Anderson and JJ Beazley.

Our cover artist is also a TGH alum; the very talented Christopher Orapello has graced us with yet another amazing painting. Get used to him–we hope to see a whole lot more of his work around here!

Issue Five

Technical issues abound here at TGH, but Issue Five is at last finished and available! This issue is our Anniversary Issue; something we’re very excited about!

Our feature story this time around is by Glynn Barrass. His story, “Asimov Unbound” was literally the very first submission ever received here at TGH, so my sincerest thanks to Glynn for waiting more than a year and a half to see it in print!

In addition to our feature story, this issue also includes stories by Ralph Robert Moore, Jamie Marriage, David Plinski, Claire Dietrich, and our own C. Bryan Brown. Jamie Marriage is also our cover artist this issue, illustrating a character from the feature story.

This issue represents the official end of our 2010 print run, Title Goes Here:’s first year in print. Starting with Issue Six in January, we’ll have all new great fiction for you, selected from the many, many excellent stories we’ve been diligently poring over for the last few months. There are also some exciting changes to the magazine coming with the new year, including some stories (separate from those in the magazine) running right here on the website itself, as well as a .pdf version of the print magazine. Keep checking back for updates or, better still, sign up for the RSS feed so you never miss a new post!

2010 Submission Period Closed

Well, it’s that time of year again… the close of another TGH fiction submission period. We want to thank everyone for the tremendous response we received this year. We don’t have a definitive final tally yet, but we know we received at least twice as many subs this year than last. It’s going to be a long hard month finishing reading and reviewing, discussing, and making decisions. Oh, and of course, fighting over those few stories we’re sure to not agree on.

So this post will be necessarily short so I can get back to the aforementioned business of reading lots and lots of stories and get to making editorial decisions. Many, many thanks to all the excellent writers who contributed to this overwhelmingly successful submissions period. It’s only because of all of you that we can continue to produce excellent issues every time.

Issue Five is looming, with a planned publication date of October 13th. After that, Issue Six will begin the unveiling of the stories we’re reviewing now. Watch the website (or the RSS Feed, of course) for news and updates as they happen!

Issue Four

Well, it went up a few days late, but Issue Four is finally here and believe me, it was worth the wait! The issue is jam-packed with excellent fiction. So packed, in fact, that I actually had to adjust the page layout a bit and eliminate almost every ad just to make room for all of it!

This issue’s feature story is “Looking Glass” by Alan Frackelton. We’re also proud to bring you “Best Friends” by David M. Fitzpatrick, “Chemical Burn” by Jason White, “A Change in Fortune” by Mark Finnemore, and “Living on Borrowed Time” by C.J. Carter-Stephenson. Plus, of course, the usual bitching and banter from your misanthropic editors.

On top of all the amazing fiction, this issue is the first time we’ve themed the cover art to the feature story, and what a hell of a start it is! We are absolutely honored to have an original painting by Christopher Orapello gracing our cover, titled “Old Man Smiling.” Once you’ve read the associated story, his frightening leer will be all that much more disturbing, I can assure you! And believe me, while the thumbnail image attached to this post and displayed in the online store is impressive in itself, the real thing in hand is simply incredible. Kudos, Chris!
